Penn State defeated Stanford 3-2 (22-25, 25-22, 28-26, 18-25, 15-11) to advance to the NCAA semifinals next week in Seattle. The Nittany Lions will play Washington or USC, which play late Saturday night, on Thursday. The match will be broadcast live on ESPN2.
