SHILLINGTON — It was a case of the twos for Southern Lehigh in their
3A semifinal match against Cumberland Valley at Governor Mifflin
Intermediate School on Tuesday.
The Spartans lost the first two sets and were on the brink of
elimination before they won the next two. Then they lost the first four
points in the deciding fifth set before Melann Amory's kill stopped the
bleeding. The Spartans wouldn't quit, though and fought back to tie the
game, 12-12.
