Local connection: Parkland High School's Andre Williams sets ACC rushing record

Andre Williams of Parkland High School rushed 42 times for 339 yards and 2 touchdowns for Boston College in a 38-21 win over North Carolina State. Williams set new single game and single-season rushing records at Boston College. The 339 yards is an Atlantic Coast Conference single-game rushing record and the most rushing yards by a Division 1 player in a game this season. Williams also set the single season rushing record in the ACC with 1,810 yards.
WR Devin Street (Liberty) had 5 receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown for Pittsburgh in a 34-27 loss to North Carolina. Street became the first receiver in school history to reach 200 receptions for a career. LB Anthony Gonzalez(Liberty) made 4 tackles for the Panthers. ... DT Levi Brown (Liberty) had 3 tackles for Temple in a 39-36 loss to Central Florida. DT Matt Ioannidis(Hunterdon Central) made a tackle. WR Zack Bambary (Easton) played but had no stats for the Owls.
