Lehigh University students dance all night to raise cash for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

Lehigh University students danced the night away tonight as they raised more than $38,000 toward medical treatment for sick children at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

After weeks of fundraising and years of planning, the Lehigh University Dance Marathon club held For The Kids, an eight-hour dance marathon, in Grace Hall on the Bethlehem campus. The group had 850 students sign up for the fundraiser before it had to close registration due to overcrowding concerns, said Alex Stephanou, a founder and co-director of the dance marathon.
