Steve Shiffert, Easton's longtime football coach, delivered his customary postgame speech following the Red Rovers' contest Friday night.
Shiffert told his team that the 31-0 win over previously undefeated East Stroudsburg South was a historic victory for a historic program.
And not only because it was a playoff triumph.
