The NBA Finals are finally ready to get started.
Those who love professional basketball will relish every minute; and those who despise it will hope for a sweep so ESPN will have something else to push until college football season rolls around.
Not surprisingly, Miami is a decisive favorite according to the Vegas oddsmakers. LeBron James is almost as clearcut a choice to win the MVP.
And while basketball's biggest stage has its moment, don't think Vegas is forgetting that the start of college is just 12 weeks from tonight. They have already identified 10 of the biggest games on the 2013 schedule and have come up with oldds for those games.
