ESPN/ABC Continues with Average NBA Finals Ratings-  The overnight ratings for game five of the NBA Finals are in at 11.4, down from last year’s 12.6 rating for game five between the Heat and Thunder.  Game 5 scored a 37.6 metered market rating in San Antonio and a 28.8 in Miami.
Stanley Cup Finals Game Two Most Watched NHL Game in History of NBCSN-  NBC reported today that game two of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals was the most-watched NHL game in the history of the NBC Sports Network.  The game garnered a 2.0 household rating and 3.964 million viewers, the second most watched sporting event on the network, behind the U.S. Women’s Olympic final in 2012
Bengals Return to HBO’s Hard Knocks- HBO Sports announced today that the Cincinnati Bengals will be the subject of this season’s behind the scenes access at training camp for the network’s Hard Knocks series.  The Bengals were featured on the show back in 2009. Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Cincinnati Bengals debuts on HBO August 6th at 10:00p.m. ET.
Pioli to join the Set of Football Night in America-  NBC Sports announced today that it has hired former Patriots and Chiefs executive Scott Pioli to serve as an analyst for its Sunday Football Night in America. Pioli will also appear regularly on Pro Football Talk, NBC Sports Network’s daily NFL program hosted by ProFootballTalk.com founder and NFL Insider Mike Florio.
