Sure Fit Inc., the Lehigh-Valley based slipcover maker that was a one-time local success story in the struggling U.S. textile industry will close its Quarry Road, Lower Macungie-based operation later this year, resulting in 75 layoffs.
The Samuel Krasnov family established Sure Fit in Philadelphia in 1914 and moved it to Bethlehem in 1937.
