This past weekend, nine local high school lacrosse players competed in the 2013 Pride of Pennsylvania Lacrosse Showcase held at Cabrini College.
After regional tryouts were held, 75 playes from across the state were named to the Eastern PA team and selected to compete in the PA's premeir high school lacrosse tournament.
Local competitors included Andrew Dipasquale, Ethan Howell, Nolan Ridgway, and Matthew Smith of Parkland, Tim Miller and Nile Luma of Allentown Central Catholic, Greg Farris and Noone Wyatt of Southern Lehigh, and Tonno Nicholas of Emmaus.
