Fox Sports Awarded Rights to Euro ’16 and ’18 European World Cup Qualifiers

Fox Sports and UEFA announced today that Fox has won the U.S. exclusive multi-media rights to the 2016 Euro Championships and the European qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup.
Fox also announced that is has agreed to sublicense half the game inventory to ESPN for carriage on its television and digital platforms.  Both ESPN and Fox Sports will be televising over 270 events for both cycles.
Fox will be the U.S. home to the 2018 World Cup.

The UEFA European Qualifiers adds a new dimension of depth to our robust portfolio of soccer broadcast rights.”
