http://sportsmediajournal.com/ Monday Night Football Wins the Night for ESPN- ESPN reports that last night’s Monday Night Football (MNF) telecast between the Giants and Redskins earned a rating of 11.9 with 16.2 million viewers, winning the night for the network. Through 13 weeks MNF is averaging a 9.7 rating and 13.1 million viewers, up slightly from 2011. SEC on CBS Most-Watched College Football Package of 2012- CBS Sports reports that the SEC on CBS was once again the most-watched college football television package for the fourth year in a row. The SEC on CBS package had an average rating of 3.9, compared to ABC’s rating of 3.7. Saturday’s SEC Championship Game had a rating of 9.8 with an audience of 16.2 million viewers, making it the highest rated and most-watched college game of the regular season. NFL Network Replay for the Week- The NFL Network (NFLN) will once again re-air three games from the weekend. Tonight at 8:00p.m. ET NFLN will replay the Steelers at Ravens. At 9:30p.m. ET the network will re-air the Seahawks at Bears. Tomorrow at 9:00p.m. ET NFLN will replay the Colts at Lions. ESPN Names Thompson and Wiley as Hosts of SportsNation- ESPN announced today that Charissa Thompson and Marcellus Wiley have been tapped as hosts for ESPN2′s SportsNation program beginning at the end of the month. The network also announced that the show will shift from the Bristol studios to their studios in Los Angeles. Thompson was elevated to co-host earlier this year when Michelle Beadle left ESPN for NBC. Wiley replaces Colin Cowherd, who announced earlier this fall he would not return as host. TNT NBA Doubleheader Thursday- TNT will once again have another NBA doubleheader this Thursday. At 8:00p.m. ET Marv Albert, Steve Kerr, and David Aldridge will have coverage of the Knicks at the Heat. At 10:30p.m. ET Kevin Harlan, Reggie Miller, Mike Fratello and Craig Sager will call the Mavericks at Suns. Three Games on NBCSN’s NFL Turning Point- This week’s NFL Turning Point on NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) will take a look back at the Steelers/Ravens, Seahawks/Bears and Colts/Lions. Dan Patrick hosts the show which begins tomorrow night at 11:00p.m. ET. Three College Hoops Games this Week on CBS Sports Network- The CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) will televise two college basketball games this week. The network will have a doubleheader tomorrow night with Ohio at Memphis at 7:00p.m. ET with Dave Ryan and Pete Gillen on the call. At 10:00p.m. ET James Bates and Steve Lappas will call USC at New Mexico. Saturday afternoon at 2:30p.m. ET Ryan and Gillen are back as Kansas State visits George Washington. NBCSN Has Fight Night 36: Bryant Jennings- The NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) will produce another behind-the-scenes look at an athlete as it spends 36 hours with boxer Bryant Jennings. Fight Night 36: Bryant Jennings, premiers Thursday at 10:00 p.m. ET. The undefeated heavyweight will battle Bowie Tupou Saturday at 10:00p.m. ET also on NBCSN.
