But when Steven Broad decided to come home to Upper Nazareth Township for a visit, his Christmas surprise was complex enough to make a mystery novelist jealous. Broad has lived in Minnesota for the last 24 years. He's been back to Nazareth plenty of times, most recently for his mother's 80th birthday, but, as he began to notice his father's deterioration due to Alzheimer's disease, he realized this Christmas needed to be special.
