76ers have new radio home in the Lehigh Valley

Here is the official release from the 76ers: SIXERS ANNOUNCE ADDITIONAL RADIO AFFILIATES FOR 2012-13 SEASON SIXERS ADD FOUR LOCAL STATIONS TO 76ERS TOYOTA RADIO NETWORK GREATER MEDIA STATION 97.5 THE FANATIC CONTINUES TO SERVE AS FLAGSHIP PHILADELPHIA, PA. – DECEMBER 14, 2012 – The Philadelphia 76ers today announced new affiliations with four local radio stations, which will be added to their 76ers Toyota Radio Network. The stations include 97.3 ESPN South Jersey (WENJ) in Atlantic City, N.J.; Sports Radio 1470 AM (WSAN) in Allentown, Pa.; ESPN 1050 AM in Williamsport, Pa.; and WPDC AM 1600 in Elizabethtown, Pa. These stations will broadcast games called by Sixers Radio Announcer Tom McGinnis in addition to the team’s flagship station, 97.5 The Fanatic of Greater Media. “Our burgeoning radio network is making great strides to ensure that Sixers fans throughout the region can hear our games,” said Sixers CEO and Co-Owner Adam Aron. “I’m proud to work with these stations in this effort, and look forward to doing so in the years to come.” ABOUT THE PHILADELPHIA 76ERS: The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the elite franchises in the National Basketball Association and have achieved the third most wins in league history, as well as the third most playoff appearances of any team in the NBA along with three World Championships.
