Salisbury school board hires new superintendent

The Salisbury Township School Board made its choice for superintendent Wednesday night, selecting Michael Q. Roth of Allentown.
Roth, 42, agreed to a five-year contract to become the district's top administrator. Currently assistant superintendent for educational programs in the Nazareth Area School District, Roth will begin his new job Nov. 1. His last day in Nazareth will be Oct. 31.
"It's been my pleasure to meet so many great people who make up the Salisbury School District and community," Roth said after the board voted 8-0 to hire him.
