AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY, Bethlehem, invites friends, families, and co-workers to form a team for their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K on Oct. 27 in downtown Bethlehem. HOLIDAY HOPE CHESTS, Bethlehem, coordinated by the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, needs volunteers to fill shoe boxes with age appropriate items for Lehigh Valley's less fortunate children. To participate, go to http://www.volunteerlv.org and fill out Holiday Hope Chest Donation Registration form. Filled shoe boxes may be dropped off at 2121 City Line Road, Bethlehem from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 3-7 p.m. on Nov. 27 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 3-6 p.m. on Nov. 28 and 29 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m Nov. 30. KIRKLAND VILLAGE, Bethlehem, is seeking individuals willing to commit to a two hour shift twice a month to volunteer in the Gift Shop.
