Weekend volunteers are needed to transport residents from their rooms to the auditorium for church, entertainment and games 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday or Sunday. FAMILY CONNECTION OF EASTON, needs tutors for the Cheston Cougars Learning Club from September to June to work with students in small groups or one-on-one to provide assistance with homework and serve as a mentor 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesdays to Thursdays. Can commit to one or two semesters during the school year. Mandatory training held before your assignment. Child abuse and criminal clearances required. Learn new ways of encouraging them to reach their potential through our Aspires Mentoring program. Mentors should be positive, committed and comfortable working with culturally diverse at-risk youth.
