NFL Action Continues to See Strong Viewership Through Week 2

NFL games were the two most-watched programs on television last week, with the 49ers-Lions on NBC’s Sunday Night Football topping the charts with 21.3 million average viewers and the CBS national telecast (mostly Jets-Steelers) drawing 19.9 million viewers. For the second consecutive week NFL games were the most watched programs in all 30 NFL local markets.
