The NASD saved positions that were planned to be cut by having the support services workers taking a cut in salary increases for the coming year according to the Express-Times.
The problem with this approach, as noted previously, is that it doesn’t fix the core problem – the NASD is spending too much and needs to control costs through actual cuts, not reductions in growth.
