Easton beat Nazareth Football 35-20 Friday Night!

Breaking News:

From Jeremy Setzer:

Nazareth Falls to Easton.

It was a heartbreaking loss to the Red Rovers in Easton tonight. The Blue Eagles out played Easton for most of the Game and held the lead from the opening drive until 8 seconds left to play in the third quarter. The scoreboard said 35-20 but the game was much closer than that. It all came down to one big run by Easton and one INT. returned for a TD by Easton with about 5 minutes to play. However, there is always a positive to take away from any game and this game is no different. We cannot get caught up with the score. The boys played a great game! Going into week two we were ranked by WFMZ at #11 among the big schools in the region. Easton was #2. The way we played the #2 team shows me our ranking is a little low. I think we are more of a #5 today with room to improve. The Blue Eagles have not played to their fullest yet and will continue to get better every week. I don’t like to lose but I feel great about the team and what great things are going to come in the next 8 weeks and into the post season!
