Freemansburg, Nazareth and Northampton advance to NorCo Legion semifinals

Bath and Wind Gap is the only NorCo Legion quarterfinal series that will go to a third and deciding game as Nick Lule went 4-for-4 to lead a potent Bath attack in an 18-6 win.

The two teams will battle on Wednesday night at Wind Gap to determine the final semifinalist in the postseason tournament.

In other Norco Legion playoff action, Frank Snyder drove in Tyler Modic with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Freemansburg a series sweep over Wanderers by a 4-3 score.

Nazareth also advanced with an 8-4 win over Kemp behind a 3-for-3, two RBI effort from D.J. King. Mike Garzillo also added a bases-loaded triple.

Northampton nailed down a spot in the semifinals by completing a 2-0 series win over Roseto with a 12-8 victory. Tyler Bodnar was a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBIs for Northampton.
