T.J. Chambers hurled a complete game as Freemansburg upended top-seeded Northampton 5-4 in Game 1 of the Northampton County Legion baseball semifinals.
Freemansburg, the sixth seed, leads the best-of-three series 1-0 and hosts Friday's Game 2, slated for 5:30 p.m.
Chambers allowed four runs (two earned) on seven hits while striking out one and walking one.
Ken Johnson went 2-for-4 with two runs for Freemansburg, while Stephen Yost was 3-for-3 with a run for Northampton.
Freemansburg never trailed, scoring single runs from the second to sixth innings. They led 5-2 after that as Northampton proceeded to score in the bottom of the frame and again in the seventh.
