Winning Powerball ticket worth $200,000 sold at Bethlehem Township Hess

A Bethlehem Township Hess station on Easton Avenue has sold a winning Powerball ticket worth $200,000.

The winning numbers were drawn May 12. The ticket correctly matched all five white balls, 37-51-52-53-58, but not the red Powerball 38. This garners a $200,000 second-tier prize, less 25 percent federal withholding.

The gas station and convenience store will get a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery officials cannot confirm the identity of the May 12 winner until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. No claim has yet been filed. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

The Lottery encourages the holder of the winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, or at any of Lottery's seven area offices.

Claims may be filed at headquarters Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at area offices.

The Powerball jackpot grew to an estimated annuity value of $120 million, or $61.2 million cash, for the Saturday, May 15, drawing
