Local actress Kate Micucci to perform on The Tonight Show

Kate Micucci will make her way back to The Tonight Show on Tuesday.

Micucci's mother, Lynn, confirmed the Nazareth Area High School grad will perform with her quirky song-writing duo "Garfunkel and Oates" after the opening monologue.

This won't be Kate Micucci's first spot on late night television, having done interviews with Jimmy Kimmel and performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

It will be a busy weekend for Micucci, as her character on Fox's sitcom "'Til Death" gives birth this weekend.

"My TV grandson comes Sunday," jokes Lynn Micucci, of Bushkill Township. "I'm so proud."

Kate Micucci will also be making her way back to Nazareth in July for the annual July 4th kazoo parade. Kate brought Nazareth to the attention of the national media when she shared her lament with Jimmy Kimmel about not being to march in her hometown kazoo parade.

Nazareth was listening. The Chamber of Commerce has asked Micucci to be the Grand Marshall of the old-fashioned parade.
