Sara Rasley had three hits, including a grand slam in the fourth inning, to help Easton beat host Liberty 8-6 on Wednesday and clinch a spot in the Lehigh Valley Conference softball tournament.
The Red Rovers (13-5, 10-3) have won 10 straight games and will participate in the LVC tournament, beginning Monday night at Pates Park. If they beat Bethlehem Catholic today, they will win the East Division title.
Liberty (12-7, 9-4) can still qualify for the tournament by beating Freedom tonight. Emmaus is the only other team to have assured itself of a LVC berth.
Audra Heiman added three hits and three RBIs for Easton, driving in runs in the fifth and seventh innings with two-out hits. Morgan Neel added two hits for the winners, who used three pitchers.
Dior George had two hits, two runs scored and two RBIs and Taylor Mihalik added a RBI double.
