Last night (12/7/09) the Nazareth School Board held its yearly reorganization meeting. The meeting started by the solicitor reading the certificates of election and the swearing in of the following:
Linda McDonald
John Marino
Chris Audenreid
Darrell Crook (Replaced David Hensley who did not run for office)
Maurice Heller
Following that the board had a voice vote to elect a temporary chair; this being Maurice Heller. They then held nominations for a President, the following were nominated:
Linda McDonald by Ken Butz
Lorin Bradley by Tom Maher
They then held a vote to decide the President. There were 3 votes for Bradley, those being Bradley, Audenreid, and Maher. The rest of the votes were for McDonald.
After Linda McDonald took the chair of the President they held nominations for Vice President. The nominations were as follows:
Maurice Heller
Lorin Bradley
Bradley then declined to accept the nomination. There was an unanimous vote for Maurice Heller to become Vice President.
