Family and friends are mourning the deaths of a Pocono Mountain West High School graduate and a current student preparing for his junior year at West.
Jon Mangual, a 2008 graduate who starred in football and basketball for the school, and student Joshua Gurczeski, both of Tobyhanna, were pronounced dead at the scene of a Thursday morning single-vehicle accident at Route 447 and 3 Points Garden Road in Smithfield Township.
Patrick C. Campbell, 18, also of Tobyhanna, and three other passengers (two females and a male) were injured and taken to different hospitals.
