2013 NAZARETH
HALLOWEEN PARADE RESULTS
On
a beautiful day in Nazareth, the annual Halloween Parade was full of Girl Scout
troops, Cub Packs, monsters, floats and much, much more.
The
parade had over 1200 participants, 4 bands, some area politicians and local
businesses supporting the Nazareth area food bank. Jennings transportation
raised over $5000.00 and donated it to the food bank during the parade.
The
parade route was lined with many
people according to Carl Strye, parade chairman, “The weather was perfect”
he said. This after 27 years as chairman, Strye is stepping down as Chairman as
he concentrates on his Mayor position.
The
Halloween parade is sponsored by the Nazareth Vigilance Hose Company No. 1 and
the Nazareth Area Kiwanis club.
Listed
below are the winners for this year’s parade. All cash prizes can be picked up
at the Nazareth Firehouse on Wednesday, October 30th, October 25th
