FROM IRONPIGS

ALLENTOWN, PA - The IronPigs come from behind for a third straight game, beating the Knights 4-3 by scoring two runs in the ninth inning, including a walk-off single by 3B Maikel Franco, sealing the series victory.
With the Pigs down to their final two outs, OF Rusty Ryal delivered a game-tying single, scoring SSAndres Blanco from second base. The veteran was able to get himself into scoring position when he saw that the throw from left field was wide of the cutoff man, creating an opportunity for the late inning heroics. After an intentional walk of OF Tyler Henson and a DH Steve Susdorf force out moved Ryal to third, Franco stepped to the plate with two on and two out, with the winning run 90 feet away. The Phillies top prospect would then deliver a single into rightfield, just out of the reach of a diving 2B Micah Johnson, scoring Ryal from third.
