Lower Nazareth Chick-fil-A to host Miller-Keystone blood drive

Miller-Keystone will hold a blood drive 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lower Nazareth Township Chick-fil-A restaurant.


Established in 1971, Miller-Keystone Blood Center is an independent, non-profit organization that serves as the only supplier of blood products to 21 hospitals in Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Lehigh, Luzerne, Montgomery,Northampton, Schuylkill and Warren counties.

Children who attend the event can receive free I.D. cards sponsored by the Huntington Learning Center. The identification cards will include fingerprints, a voice recording and a physical description of the child. Children can also enjoy the inflatable moon bounce and a visit from the Chick-fil-A Cow.

"Our Chick-fil-A team is looking forward to doing our part to help the Miller-Keystone Blood Center," said restaurant Operator Luke Cook. "We encourage the community to come out and support this worthy cause."

Anyone interested in donating blood can pre-register by e-mailing contact information here, but pre-registration is not required.
