1 YEAR ANNIVERSITY AT THE NAZARETH ARTS CENTER

Thank You!

Thank you for your support of the Nazareth Center for the Arts! One year ago we had our grand opening, and since then we have had over 50 public, musical performances and close to 100 events and meetings.

While doing so we've raised money for Dream Kids and Kids for America whose efforts support Dream Come True and Blue Star Mothers, respectively. We've also worked with VIA of the Lehigh Valley to help Andy Weaver demonstrate his skills and abilities in social media (he handles our Facebook and blog updates, along with calendar updates), and Andy sells and collects tickets at our shows.

This Saturday we have our final events of 2010, at 3:30 p.m. is a special presentation of Dicken's A Christmas Carol using a glass slide projector from the early 1900s by Elmer and Alice Yeakel of Nazareth. This is a one hour program and admission is free.

At 7:00 p.m. Kids for America bring their variety style show to the Center for the third time this year. All proceeds from this show will be donated to Blue Star Mothers, who support local military families.

In 2011, you can expect a diversity of styles by talented musical performers in a family friendly environment ranging from soloists to ensembles, duets to bands, you'll hear modern and traditional forms of blues, classical, country, electronic, jazz, folk, new age, rock, and world in both acoustic and electric shows.

If you aren't interested in competing with the noise and distractions often found in a bar or cafe setting, our 60 seat listening venue is ideal for you. The space encourages interaction between the audience and musicians resulting in a memorable experience as songs and the songwriting process are discussed and explored.

Over 20 events are already scheduled for January, February, and March, with more to come. Check www.nazaretharts.com or our Facebook page for the latest news and information!
