KEITH GROLLER'S NFL PREDICTIONS

From Keith Groller

A lot of people I know root for the Philadelphia teams -- especially the Phillies and Eagles -- and Penn State football.

Obviously, those people are having a tough week thanks to Hideki Matsui and Terrelle Pryor.

But a lot of those same folks will forget all about the World Series and canceling those plans for Pasadena if the Eagles can thrash the hated Cowboys tonight.

I don't know what's more fun -- watching the game or watching the two fan groups square off at the area sports bars. I don't know if I'd want to hang out with either group for very long, especially as the beer flows, but it's fun while they're still standing.

I had a blast just listening to the Giants and Eagles fans bark at each other in the parking lot while walking into Citizens Bank Park for the World Series last Sunday.

The big winners tonight are the sports bars. They should be doing boffo business as will NBC with another Sunday night ratings winner.

I'm looking for a few winners with my NFL picks, which continue to struggle against the spread. Was 9-4 outright last week, but just 5-8 against the number. Now 71-44 outright, 56-58-1 against the spread on the season.

Again, this is just for my amusement only.
