BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh baseball's Mike Garzillo
has been drafted in the 38th round (No. 1143 overall) by the New York
Yankees in the MLB first-year player draft Wednesday evening. Garzillo
becomes the second Mountain Hawk to be drafted in as many days after
teammate Justin Pacchioli
was selected by the San Diego Padres in the tenth round Tuesday,
marking the first time in program history that Lehigh has had two
players selected in the same year in the amateur draft.
