One of ESPN’s biggest events on the 4th of July is not airing
baseball (it hasn’t aired games in a while, but will be back airing MLB
games this year), but the International Hot Dog Eating Contest from
Coney Island. Ratings for this event are quite solid for ESPN and people
like to watch this every July 4th.
