Amelia Sapirman likes to toot her own horn. Literally.
Sapirman, the Liberty High School senior goalkeeper, plays both the trumpet and the herald trumpet in the Hurricanes band.
The herald trumpet? It's that long, thin horn you might see in a movie like "First Knight," or if you go to Medieval Times or any renaissance fair. It's usually played for the entrance of the king or queen, a conquering hero or some major event.
