The Holiday Tree Lighting funded eight organizations more than $7,000. The recipients were Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Bridge: Monroe County, Center of Vision Loss, Melon's Gift Inc., Pocono Alliance, Pocono Area Transitional Housing, Pocono Family YMCA, Pocono Services for Families and Children and Youth Infusion Inc. The Pocono Health Foundation and Rotary Club of the Smithfields raises funds by the sale of red, green and white holiday bulbs in memory or in honor of someone.
