http://sportsmediajournal.com/ Terry Francona to Join Bob Costas Wednesday on MLB Network- The next edition of Studio 42 with Bob Costas will feature an interview with former Red Sox and current Indians manager Terry Francona. The interview will air Wednesday at 9:00p.m. ET. MLBN will air a second Studio 42 with Bob Costas Thursday at 9:00p.m. ET as Costas sits down with David Robinson, son of Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson. Tim Brando’s Radio Show Shifts to Sirius XM Radio- Sirius XM Radio announced today that The Tim Brando Show will now have an exclusive home on its network. The show had been part of Yahoo! Sports Radio. The program will begin airing on Sirius XM College Sports Nation, channel 91, beginning next Monday at 9:00a.m. ET. McNabb Added as Major Contributor to NBC Sports Radio- Dial Global and NBC Sports have announced that former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb has been added as a regular contributor on NBC Sports Radio. McNabb will appear on the network beginning this week at the Super Bowl and will also be part of a new soon-to-be-announced Monday-Friday show to be launched on April 1st. ESPN Announces Next Two 30 for 30 Film Releases- ESPN has scheduled the debut for the next two films in it’s 30 for 30 documentary series. Survive and Advance, from director Jonathan Hock , will debut on March 17 at 9:00p.m. ET and looks at Jim Valvano and the ’82-’83 season of the North Carolina State Wolfpack. Elway to Marino, from NFL Films and director Ken Rodgers, will debut on April 23rd at 9:00p.m. ET and offer an in-depth examination of the 1983 NFL Draft that was highlighted by a record six quarterbacks being taken in the first round, including future Hall of Famers John Elway and Dan Marino. NBA Action this Week on ESPN- ESPN will have NBA double header action this Wednesday and Friday. Wednesday at 8:00p.m. ET the Heat will take on the Nets with Mike Breen, Hubie Brown and Chris Broussard. at 10:30p.m. ET Dave Pasch, Jon Barry and Heather Cox will cal the Lakers at Suns. Friday at 7:00p.m. ET the Heat are at the Pacers with Mark Jones and Jon Barry. Terry Gannon, Chris Mullin and Heather Cox will call the Lakers at Timberwolves at 9:30p.m. ET. NBA TV to Present Mid Season Report Card- NBA TV will produce a program this week looking at the 2012-2013 NBA season at the mid-way point. Midseason Report Special on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 7 p.m. ET. Rick Kamla and Dennis Scott (analyst) will be joined by NBA.com writers Steve Aschburner, Scott Howard-Cooper and Sekou Smith to review all the grades and assess each team. NBA TV insider David Aldridge will also contribute to the show. U.S. Men’s Soccer vs. Canada- ESPN2 will have coverage of the first match featuring the U.S. Men’s Soccer Team this year. Glenn Davis and Taylor Twellman will have the call with sideline reporter Mónica González. Alexi Lalas will provide halftime commentary. Kick-off is tomorrow night at 9:00p.m. ET
