BELL SCHEDULE #1 FIRST DAY OF QUARTER 2
Attention all students – November 12, 13 and 14 there will be no Eagle Block activities. The schedule is
as follows:
Monday, November 12 – Freshman class meeting will be held in the auditorium regarding
Keystone Exams. Sophomores/Juniors return to homeroom for a study hall. Seniors who have
completed their Graduation Project will be dismissed. All other seniors must return to their homeroom
for a study hall.
Juniors & Seniors – there will be a mandatory meeting for the parents of any student who intends on
applying for Dual Enrollment at Northampton Community College or East Stroudsburg University for the
Spring semester/semester 2. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 20th at 6:30 pm in the LGI.
Please be sure to inform your parents of this very important meeting.
The NAHS theatre troupe is looking for a few responsible students to help out with the box office and
ushering for our upcoming Children’s show “Sleepy Hollow.” The shows are Saturday November 17 and
Sunday November 18 at 2 pm. We need people from 12:45 – 4:00 for box office duties. Ushers may be
able to leave after the show starts. Any interested students should see Mrs Jameson in room 349 as soon
as possible.
Next week your NAHS Library will celebrate Games & Puzzles week! We have games and puzzles out on
the tables for your enjoyment during study hall or after school. The library will be open until 3:30 on
Monday and Tuesday, but will close at noon on Wednesday.
Attention SADD club members – There will not be a meeting after school today.
Chess Club will be held on Wednesday’s from 2:45‐4:00 in the upper library.
Attention all 9th grade students – Please hand in your field trip permission slip for the Career Institute of
Technology as soon as possible! Please return to your homeroom teacher or bring to the main office. If
you lost your permission slip, you can pickup another form in the main office.
Attention all National Honor Society members – There will be a mandatory meeting on Thursday,
November 15th in the auditorium during Eagle Block to go over the induction ceremony. All National
Honor society members and inductees are required to attend this meeting. Please see Mrs Teles if you
have any questions.
Attention all S.G.A. representatives and National Honor society members – If you are willing and able to
volunteer on parent‐teacher conference day, please stop by and sign up in the Principal’s office sometime
by Friday, November 16th. Parent‐Teacher conferences are on Tuesday, November 20th from 1:00‐4:00
pm and 6:00‐9:00 pm. We always have students in the halls to help parents who may need directions.
Any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated.
French, German and Spanish club members – Want to try French, German and Spanish food? Come and
join us at our yearly SPANCHMEN activity on Thursday, November 15th after school in the cafeteria.
Attention all home rooms – Due to the week off from school, the Operation Christmas Child homeroom
collection contest will be extended to Tuesday, November 13th.
Attention all students: Parent Teacher Conferences are being held on Tuesday, November 20th from
1:00‐4:00 pm and 6:00 – 9:00 pm here at the high school. Please remind your parents to call and
schedule an appointment to meet with your teachers/counselors from now through November 19th.
Please be prepared with a current class schedule before calling. The calling hours are 8:00 – 4:00 pm.

Sophomores, the Auntie Anne’s and cookie dough fundraiser due date is today!! You may hand in your
forms to your homeroom teachers or to Mr. Kratzer in room 278.
Attention Seniors! –The group portrait of the Senior Class of 2013 is here! If you would like to purchase
the portrait, there are order forms in the main office. We also have the Senior Portrait for you to look at if
you have not decided whether or not you want to purchase one.
Attention all STUDENTS!!! The Student Government Association is sponsoring a food drive from now
until November 16th!! Bring in non‐perishable food items to donate to the Nazareth Food Bank. The
homeroom that collects the most amount of non‐perishable food items will win a breakfast provided by
Chick‐Fil‐A. So, make it the goal of your homeroom to FILL THOSE BOXES!!!! The Nazareth Food Bank
has been providing food for families in the Nazareth area for about 25 years. Currently approximately
250 families and individuals‐a total numbering more than 300 people, including more than 100 childrenare
served monthly. See an SGA representative for more information about this food drive!! Thank you
for your support!
Attention all faculty members!!!! Want to dress casual for a cause??? The NAHS Student Government
Association is sponsoring a FOOD DRIVE during the month of November. Staff members are invited to
bring in 3 nonperishable
food items on each Wednesday during the month of November. For every
Wednesday in November that a staff member donates 3 nonperishable
food items, he/she is welcome
to dress down for that day. Staff members can drop off their items in Room 358. Participation is
voluntary. Thank you for your support!!!
Students‐ when scanning out for study hall privilege, please check the Loss of Privilege Roster posted in
the attendance office for that week prior to your leaving the building. Any student who leaves the
building who lost their privilege will result in an automatic Saturday detention and possible loss of
privilege.
All students who plan on driving to school MUST register their car with the main office to receive a
parking tag and MUST park in either North Campus or Mitchell lot. Parking on the street is prohibited!!
Students ‐ All students will not be permitted into the high school building until 6:50 a.m. Please plan your
morning accordingly.
Attention all students who drive to school: If your car is parked in the senior lot by North Campus with
football lines, your car must be moved by 3 pm every day. These parking regulations will be enforced
from the first day of school through November 15th.
Students – if you did not purchase last year’s yearbook and you would like one, you can purchase one in
the main office or room 259 during the school day. Cost is $88.00 in cash or check made payable to
Comet Yearbook.
