Welcome to Andy's Corner! The Nazareth Varsity Competition Cheerleaders went down to the GIANT Center in Hershey on January 20th and January 21st for the PIAA State Cheerleading Championship in which will air on the Pennsylvania Cable Network at a later date, Our Blue Eagles Cheerleaders made it all the way to the Final Round and finished up in 11th place, they are 11th in the State! The Nazareth Wrestling Team traveled over to Northampton on January 19th to renew a rivarly and they beat Northampton 34-25 and will now wrestle their last regular home match vs Pocono Mountain East on January 25th at 7pm which will be Senior Night and as of now will wrestle Bethlehem Catholic at 7pm on January 28th at Shawnee Intermediate School in the EPC Championship. The Nazareth Junior High Wrestling Team had a tournament in Bellefonte and won that tournament!! The Nazareth Boys Basketball Team played host to Whitehall on January 17th and lost and played host to Pocono Mountain West and fell short and then went to Parkland on January 20th and lost at Parkland and will now host Emmaus at 7pm on January 24th and then will travel to Freedom at 7pm on January 27th and will host Bangor at 2pm on January 28th. The Nazareth Girls Basketball team went to Whitehall on January 17th and got a win and then went to Pocono Mountain West on January 18th and won big and then played host to Parkland on January 20th and got a win and will play at Emmaus on January 24th and will then host Freedom on January 27th at 7pm. The Nazareth Boys and Girls Swimming both played host to Northampton and won on January 19th and will now go to East Stroudsburg South at 4pm on January 24th and then host Whitehall on January 26th at 4pm and then host Southern Lehigh at 10am on January 28th.
