HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING TEAM RANKINGS
Parkland’s
terrific PIAA Class AAA team tournament that included a win over
Boyertown cements the Trojans at No. 3; their 7 losses are: three to
Bethlehem Catholic, two to AAA runner-up Cumberland Valley, and one each
to Phillipsburg and South Western. Now that’s a schedule. Saucon
Valley’s steely display at states and obvious improvement from the D-11
team duals earns the Panthers a jump to No. 7. Duals between the bottom
four teams in the top 10 would be fascinating. North Hunterdon’s 41-21
loss to Bound Brook doesn’t cost the Lions much. The NJSIAA sectionals
could impact No. 7 and below but we think the top 6 are pretty much set.
