KJ Fenstermacher, sophomore, Liberty (113)
Through
the District 11 tournament, Fenstermacher enjoyed a spectacular
freshman season; he won the D-11 championship and brought a 36-3 record
into the Northeast Regional despite a painful hand injury. But he won
just one bout at regionals and his season ended short of Hershey. A
repeat of the good part of the season seems likely and a re-run of the
bad part highly unlikely for the Hurricane sophomore, who is just that –
a storm – on the mat.
