GOLF BENEFIT: The 16th annual Stefano's Golf Tournament starts with 8 a.m. registration Aug. 12 at Whitetail Golf Club in Bath. A shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. will be followed by an Italian feast at Stefano's Restaurant in Bethlehem at 3:30 p.m., awards at 4:30, and raffles and prizes. Per person price of $125 includes fees, cart and meal. Proceeds benefit Bethlehem and Lehigh County Special Olympics and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. GOLF OUTING: The Joe's Tavern 10th annual Golf Outing starts with a noon registration Aug. 25, followed by a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start and an awards program at 6:30 p.m. The $90 per golfer cost includes cart and greens fees, golf gift, dinner buffet, beverage cart, foursome photo, snack-at-the-turn, bucket of balls and goodie bag. GOLF RESCHEDULED: The YWCA of Bethlehem's 11th Annual TGIF (Teaching Girls is Fun) Charity Golf Classic was postponed because of weather. Originally scheduled for June 10 at the Club at Morgan Hill in Easton, the event will now take place on Sept. 11. All current registrants will play at that time and more information will be available for additional golfers at a later date.
