We lost stars from The Bob Newhart Show, Coach, Dave's World, Diff'rent Strokes, Evening Shade, F Troop, The Facts of Life, Frasier, Grace Under Fire, I Dream of Jeannie, Laverne & Shirley, M*A*S*H, Mad About You, Mama's Family, Mayberry R.F.D., Night Court, One Day at a Time, Soap, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Three's a Crowd and many more who are greatly missed. We thank them for the laughter and entertainment they brought us over the years.

As we mentioned, The Office is coming to COZI TV starting January 1, but now we can share the full COZI TV January 2019 lineup. The Office will air Sunday through Fridays from 10pm-12am. The Nanny remains from 12-2am on M-F, while Will & Grace moves to 2-4am. Will & Grace airs 12-2am on Sunday nights. Among the series returning from hiatus are Dragnet, Lassie, The Lone Ranger and Quantum Leap. With the addition of The Office and these series coming back, the series off the lineup now are The Munsters, Miami Vice, Quincy M.E., The Virginian, Wyatt Earp, The Real McCoys, Murdoch Mysteries and Alias Smith & Jones.

The Nazareth Boys Basketball Team went to Central on December 11th and won and then beat Whitehall at home on December 13th and will be at Emmaus on December 18th and won and then play host to Northampton on December 21st and will play host to Palmerton on December 22nd. The Nazareth Girls Basketball Team beat Central at Home on December 11th and then beat Whitehall on the road on December 13th and now will host Emmaus on December 18th and then will be at Northampton on December 21st.

Elizabeth Meriwether (Single Parents, New Girl) and Bell are executive producers and co-creators of the series, which will air next year (2019-2020 season) on The ABC Television Network. In Bless This Mess, a newlywed couple's (Bell, Shepard) plan to ditch big city living for a simpler life in Nebraska doesn't go as expected. The Nazareth Boys Basketball Team went to Catasqua on Friday December 7th and won 80-34 and then won at home vs host Tamaqua on Saturday December 8th and then went to Central on Tuesday December 11th and won 81-61 and then beat Whitehall on Thursday December 13th at home and will now be at Emmaus on December 18th and then host Northampton on December 21st and then host Palmerton on December 22nd . The Nazareth Girls Basketball Team played in the Haverford Tournament on Friday December 7th and Sunday December 9th and lost to Bonner 45-42 on Friday and then beat Merion Center 51-25 on Sunday and will play host to Central on Tuesday December 11th and won and then went to Whitehall on December 13th and won and will host Emmaus on December 18th and then at Northampton on December 21st.
The Nazareth Wrestling Team participated in the Cumberland Valley Tournament on Friday December 7th and on Saturday December 8th and Nazareth crowns 4 Champions, a Runner-Up, 4 Third Place Finishers, & a Fifth Place Finisher in route to their 2nd consecutive Cumberland Valley Kickoff Classic Team Championship and now will be at home they beat Allen on December 12th and then went to Northampton on December 13th and won and will be at East Stroudsburg South and then host Freedom on December 20th and then the Beast of the East Tournament on December 22nd and December 23rd. Production for the 10 30-minute episodes is scheduled to begin in spring in Vancouver with the premiere launching later in the year. The only thing better than bears, beets, and Battlestar Galactica is ringing in the New Year with The Office on COZI TV! Don't drop an entire pot of chili just yet, as season one and season two of everyone's favorite workplace sitcom will debut on the national multicast network on January 1, 2019 beginning at 10 AM (check local listings) and then begin airing in its regular time period, a two-hour block starting at 10 PM ET.

The Nazareth Boys Basketball Team will start at Catasqua at 6;45pm on Friday December 7th and then host Tamaqua at 1pm on Saturday December 8th and then at Central on Tuesday December 11th and then host Whitehall on Thursday December 13th. The Nazareth Girls Basketball Team will be in the Haverford Tournament on Friday December 7th and Sunday December 9th and host Central on Tuesday December 11th and then at Whitehall on December 13th.

Recently, I caught up with the most recent season of FX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Always Sunny is currently the longest-running live action sitcom on TV, having just finished its 13th season. The show premiered in 2005, an age that seems so far long and feels extraordinarily different from the current era, and yet, Sunny still fits seamlessly into the current TV landscape. In its 13th season, the show still feels vital and relevant - sometimes, in new ways than it did previously.

Big Brother: Celebrity Edition returns for a second season Monday, Jan. 21 from 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT. Following the premiere, Big Brother: Celebrity Edition will air on multiple nights each week for three weeks, with the two-hour finale on Wednesday, Feb. 13 from 9-11. It began yesterday (Monday, November 26) through Christmas Day, the monthlong programming marathon will offer up more than 600 hours of holiday-themed movies, specials and family favorite films, as well as the television debut of Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas is You (2017). AMC will be the exclusive home to Christmas favorites including Elf, The Polar Express and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation as well as 12 classic Christmas specials from the legendary Rankin/Bass production company, including The Year Without a Santa Claus, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, Jack Frost, Rudolph's Shiny New Year and Frosty's Winter Wonderland, among many others. Escape, the over-the-air network reaching women 25-54 with a brand of programming anchored in stories of crime and mystery, has acquired the television rights to Law & Order and Boston Legal in two individual deals. Escape lands the first 12 seasons of Law & Order - the longest-running crime and investigation drama on American primetime television – in a multi-year licensing agreement with Universal Television. The complete series/five seasons of Boston Legal come from Twentieth Television, Inc. Laff, television's fastest-growing network and the nation's first over-the-air network devoted to comedy around-the-clock, has landed the broadcast television rights to all eight seasons of According to Jim, starring Jim Belushi, in an agreement with Walt Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International.

Comcast Corporation announced it has selected two new African American majority owned independent networks to be broadly distributed on Comcast Cable systems beginning in January 2019. After a thorough evaluation of dozens of proposals, Comcast selected AFRO and CLEO TV, both of which will provide quality entertainment that highlights and features TV and movie content about African American and black communities. AFRO, a channel from Afrotainment, is a 24-hour polycultural black network mainly broadcasting top-rated Nollywood and black movies, dramas, sitcoms, music, talk, and late night comedy shows. CLEO TV is a lifestyle and entertainment network targeting Millennial and Gen X women of color. Derived from the name Cleopatra, one of the most powerful, trendsetting, rule-breaking and iconic women in history, CLEO TV will offer quality content that defies negative and cultural stereotypes of today’s modern women. The network promises a unique and diverse offering of short-form and long-form content including travel, home design, cooking, talk shows, movies, docu-series, sitcoms and much more.

Recently, I've been engaging on a rewatch of Parks and Recreation. It's a show I haven't revisited too much since its end, and it's made me forget just what a delightful little show it was. It was funny, optimistic and filled with likable characters, and while its optimistic view on politics already seems somewhat outdated, the show's strengths more than make up for it. What else I saw it in, though, was a little bit of Mike Schur's future sitcoms - Brooklyn Nine-Nine and especially The Good Place. In many ways, the critical adoration of Parks and Recreation could be directly traced to those two shows. So in this blog post, I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge Parks and the world of Mike Schur comedies it created.

Series creator and co-star Carl Reiner personally selected the two episodes to showcase his favorite episodes featuring Dick Van Dyke. This fall has been disastrous for network TV ratings. Huge, giant sitcoms like Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory are down to all-time low numbers. Veteran hits like The Goldbergs and Superstore are at levels well below even just last season. And while there have been new sitcoms such as The Neighborhood and The Kids Are Alright to do fairly well, their numbers would've been deemed cancel-worthy just a few seasons ago. Not to mention shows like Fresh Off the Boat and Speechless, moved to Friday nights only to see almost their entire live audience abandon them. It's been a grim fall for sitcoms on network TV, even ones generally doing well, at least if your name isn't The Conners. And yet, when everything is so low, one has to ask...is it time to stop looking at live ratings as a measure for success?

COZI TV has put out extra place settings for several Unexpected Guests joining viewers throughout Thanksgiving weekend. The national multicast network today announced a special four-day marathon featuring many of the most memorable episodes of Will & Grace, Murder, She Wrote, Frasier and more. This will kick-off on Thursday, November 22 at 9 AM and conclude Sunday, November 25 at midnight (check local listings). COZI TV's Unexpected Guests marathons will include Little House on the Prairie all day Thanksgiving Day, with guest stars like Johnny Cash and Lou Gossett Jr. Then its Frasier all evening Thursday featuring Kristen Chenoweth, Ted Danson and more. Murder, She Wrote takes over all day Friday with Bryan Cranston, Courtney Cox and many others. Will & Grace showcases Matt Damon, Michael Douglas, Elton John and more on Friday night. Plus the weekend line-up continues filled with a wide variety of stars and shows, from Boy George on The A-Team to Harrison Ford on The Virginian.

TBS has picked up the unscripted comedy Unqualified (wt) to pilot. Following their magnetic showdown on the network's rap battle series Drop the Mic, Shaquille O'Neal and Ken Jeong are pairing up again for Unqualified (wt), which will follow the unlikely duo as they take on different odd jobs. Between them, there are very few things these two iconic Renaissance men can't do. Shaq easily shifted from court to courtside commentary as an analyst for Turner Sports' Emmy Award-winning Inside the NBA on TNT. And Jeong really is a medical doctor as well as playing one on TV. But can they be scuba instructors? Line cooks? Dental hygienists? Nude art class models? All in one day?

Hulu announced a 10-episode series order for Dollface, a new comedy from ABC Signature Studios. The new Hulu Original Series will star actress Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls), who is also set to executive produce the comedy alongside Creator and Writer Jordan Weiss (Harley Quinn) and Showrunner Ira Ungerleider. Additional executive producers include Margot Robbie, Brett Hedblom and Tom Ackerley for LuckyChap Entertainment; Bryan Unkeless and Scott Morgan for Clubhouse Pictures; Nicole King and Stephanie Laing (Vice Principals). Matt Spicer (Ingrid Goes West) will executive produce and direct the first episode.
