NBA TV and ESPN’s Plans for the WNBA Playoffs

The WNBA Playoffs begin this week and NBA TV and ESPN will have coverage of the action.
NBA TV will televise up to six games, beginning this Friday, with a doubleheader beginning at 7:00p.m. ET with Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals featuring the Indiana Fever against the Chicago Sky.  In the second game, the Seattle Storm will visit the Minnesota Lynx,in the Western Conference Semifinals beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET.  The network will air pre-game, halftime and post-game shows with host Matt Winer and analysts Steve Smith and LaChina Robinson.
Saturday’s doubleheader will feature Game 2 in the Eastern Conference match-up between the Atlanta Dream and the Washington Mystics at 7:00 p.m. ET, followed by the Los Angeles Sparks battling the Phoenix Mercury in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals at 10:00 p.m. ET. Vince Cellini will host Saturday’s pregame, halftime and postgame coverage with analysts Dennis Scott and Katie Smith, the WNBA’s second all-time leading scorer.
