Year-in and year-out the focus for theNorthampton Area High School field hockey team is the same -- key in on the first Lehigh Valley Conference divisional games.

"We try to give a good first impression the first time we face (divisional opponents)," sixth-year coach Kelly Backenstoe said. "Hopefully, that will give a good indication for the rest of the conference. We focus on that all preseason."
