Bethlehem, PA --PBS39 is proud to announce the premiere of a new local show, FOCUS, on Friday, September 20 at 7 p.m.
FOCUS replaces Tempo InDepth, which ran for 14 seasons. As the name implies, FOCUS showcases the people, places, and issues of value to residents of Eastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey. Hosted by Laura McHugh, the new program features reporters Grover Silcox and newcomer Brittany Garzillo.

"FOCUS gives PBS39 a fresh start to reconnect with the community," said Tim Fallon, PBS39 CEO. "As always, we're committed to delivering a comprehensive story with high production value, but we're changing up the way it's presented. I think residents of the Lehigh Valley and beyond will be both inspired and entertained by FOCUS."

This fall, the PBS39 FOCUS team will collaborate with The Weller Health Education Center to explore issues such as children's health, nutrition, domestic abuse, and addiction. To educate the community on healthcare reform, FOCUS has partnered with The Morning Call on a series called "Obamacare: Ready or Not," which will premiere Friday, September 27.
