FROM THE MORNING CALL
Easton has won 23 District 11 wrestling team titles since the tournament began in 1948. This weekend, the Red Rovers will seek their third consecutive title and 24th overall at the two-day tournament at Liberty High.
Since 1980, just five schools have won team titles: Easton, Northampton, Nazareth, Parkland and Liberty. Easton has won 13 of those championships.
The District 11 Class 3A tournament begins Friday at Liberty, while the Class 2A tournament opens at Freedom. The consolation and championship finals for both classes will be wrestled at Liberty beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday.
