Northampton Community College sophomore Tiara Aziz, an Easton High graduate who earlier became the leading scorer in the school's history, has been named the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) Player of the Year for the 2012-13 season.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Northampton sophomore Tiara Aziz has been named the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) Player of the Year for 2012-13, the league office announced Friday morning.
Aziz, a graduate of Easton Area High School, is Northampton's all-time career scoring leader with 888 points.
Teammate Alyssa Gibson (Wilson Area High School) was named to the second team.
Northampton, which captured the EPAC championship with a perfect 10-0 conference record, will host a Region XIX playoff game on Tuesday February 26th at 6pm.
