FROM MORNING CALL
LONG POND — Kasey Kahne outraced his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jeff Gordon on the final restart of a caution-filled day and went on to win NASCAR Sprint Cup's GoBowling.com 400 at Pocono Raceway on Sunday.
Gordon had taken the lead from Kahne on the previous restart, erasing Kahne's 7.6-second lead.
But debris discovered on the track brought out the yellow flag and bunched up the field one last time for a restart
Kahne, going to the outside of the track, caught Gordon coming out of Turn 1 and then passed him on the straightway entering Turn 2.
