ALBURTIS POLICE DEPARTMENT will host its sixth annual National Night Out Against Crime, 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at the community center pool, 242 Walnut St. Live music by Bootleg Express, a pool party, free hot dogs and more. FREDERICK J. JAINDL SCHOLARSHIP, valued at $2,000, will be awarded on Aug. 28, at the Ag Awards Program in the Agri-Plex building during the Allentown Fair. Students who have exhibited a competitive entry at the Allentown Fair for at least one year and are enrolled in agriculture in a two- or four-year institution are eligible .
