The Bill Paulik Court dedication ceremony at Salisbury in Feburary of 2011 was one of the highlights of that high school basketball season. It was a special, memorable night.
There had been damage done to the floor at Salisbury that required everything to b
e redone and the logo to be removed, and it was disappointing not to see the Paulik logo at Salisbury home games last season.
However, I learned earlier this week that the logo is back on the floor. That's good to know and will be good to see this winter when the Falcons should be one of the best teams in the Colonial League.
I talked to a family member who told me that Bill recently had two strokes, but is hanging in there as tough as ever.
He is truly one of Lehigh Valley basketball's coaching icons and we wish him well.
